Anjuman-I-Islam is being conferred with the prestigious “Sir Syed Excellence National Award” by Aligarh Muslim University on 17th Oct 2020. Our beloved Hon. President Dr. Zahir. I. Kazi accepted th award o behalf of Anjuman-i-islam.

Anjuman-I-Islam’s Akbar Peerbhoy Girls Polytechnic celebrated International Women's day on 8th March 2022 at Akbar Peerbhoy Conference Hall, CST to honour womanhood and empower women to become future entrepreneurs. The program was presided by our Hon. President Dr. Zahir Kazi with Sr. Vice President Mr. Mushtaq Antulay, Vice President Dr. Abdullah Shaikh, Hon. Treasurer Mr. Moiz Miyajiwala, Hon.Jt Secretary Mr. Aqeel Hafiz and Chief Executive Officer Col. S.E. Modak. Chief Guest of programme was  Mrs. Chayya Kubal, Asst. Commissioner, Skill Development Department, Mumbai. Akbar Peerbhoy Girls' Polytechnic has been providing Skill based  education  to women since 1981. We believe that Self empowered women are the change agent of the communities. The day also aims to highlight the importance of gender neutral society.
